Rules for T-BALL
 
 

1. Rule number 1 – have fun
2. Bases are 35 feet apart
3. Pitcher line is an ARC 10 feet from the plate.
4. All players in the field must stay behind the pitching arc.
5. All players must wear a helmet when at bat and when running the bases
6. All batters must bat according to a pre set batting order
7. All kids on the batting order bat each inning, (or a pre arranged number is the team members number vary significantly)
8. When the team battings last batter is up, the team will let the other team know it is the last batter.  When the ball is hit all kids on the bases and the batter run all the bases to home.  Any runs scored by the kids running the bases after ball is thrown home do not count.
9. The batter is automatically out if he/she throws the bat
10. All players waiting to bat must stand behind the screen to prevent accidental injury
11. When the ball is batted it must cross the 10 foot pitchers line to be in play.  If it fails to cross line the batter returns to the plate/Tee and all runners return to their bases.
12. If the ball is over thrown at any base the runners may advance 1 (one) base.
13. If the bases are loaded, the ball may be thrown to home plate or the nearest base for an out.
